Mummy made a cake today and gave us a plate with leftover strawberries.

It was quite tricky to eat and chase Jessie at the same time.

Mummy even picked me up and put the plate closer to Jessie but she didn't realise that Jessie doesn't like strawberries. Jessie doesn't like any goodies I think. But Bambino does. I was a good girl and cleaned the plate.

Mummy went to the kitchen to find pineapple for Jessie. Then she held me tight while Jessie was eating. I said that Jessie doesn't like goodies. She only eats to be polite. Mummy put me down before Jessie had finished chewing and I almost made her choke on the pineapple. Now I am in the kitchen and wonder how I can get up to the stove and quality check the strawberry-banana-lemon-lavender cake.

Hoppy Easter everybunny! Our parents haven't managed to take a good Easter photo of us all. For a while we sat together on the carpet we have worked so much on but by the time Mum got her camera out, I decided to make sure Jessie moves her butt. We got a big flower pot of soil for Easter. We will show you guys pictures once we have figured out how to use it.

The parents seem to have found a good hangout for us buns, Steinhof in Vienna. There are deers running, kites flying, and dogs are not allowed in. Maybe we're not allowed in either? We certainly hope not. Here's a deer sample from yesterday:

Die Möhrenspender/The carrot suppliers haven't updated our blog in a long time but we are still going strong. We were going a bit too strong on each other during summer holiday so to reduce the impact of the disharmony in our bunny camp, Jessie is now mostly with the humins whereas Bandito and I rule the rest of the place. The people here talk about re-bonding. Mumbo-jumbo if you ask me. Somehow it involves a flying Jessie. Here the bloke and I are in our new hangout:

The buns are now at the summer camp. H has been there several times before and seems to enjoy the company of other bunnies and the opportunity to run on the ground. Bambino and Jessie appeared a bit anxious and they did for sure not enjoy the car ride. I promised them that the place is nice and safe and the people there are kind and that we will miss them a lot and pick them up towards the end of August. I am also confident that H will take care of them and show them everything. When I left them, they seemed happy and curious and quite excited. I am sure they will be fine. And they got some cranberries and a beer crate too :) Now we are simply looking forward to a cheerful wiedersehen, for example like this:

I protest. Just because we are bunnies we get tricked so easily. A cranberry, sound of daddy opening the fridge and reaching for carrots, oh well. Today we got tricked exactly this way. First the mess&jess disappeared, actually no reason to worry here ;P , but then da bloke aka smooth guy was kidnapped too! I knew I shouldn't have gone out of my box, I knew it, but daddy was holding a carrot and calling my name... What happened is we got wrapped in hideous pink towel and had our nails done, horrible. My fellow buns were taken picture of as they were in the towel, bit I did fight til the end with my carrot under my arm! I am not a simple bunny, I am not a simple bunny.

Today Jessie was digging and searching for treasures. Constantly. Poor Mummy did all the gardening alone last weekend with the new flowers. She sould have checked with Jessie first.

After Jessie had dug for a couple of hours she was dirty all over and got thrown into my lovely Terrassenhütte so that she could wash herself. Bambino did not ask me for permission to leave my floor but went down to help her so she was clean again after 10 minutes.

Just a little update: Mum and Dad abanbunned us for Easter and went to a place where rabbit is an ingredient of the regional dish. Outrageous! But being abanbunned was cool. A very nice girl took care of us, played with us and made us search for goodies. Nice bunnysitter! When Mum and Dad came back I got back to my attempts to kiss Jessie nice and softly and speedy. I am delighted to let you all know that last night, right after supper, Bambino did a flop, obviously happy. This morning, H did the same. We haven't seen her doing flops in quite a while. I am terribly sorry for not having updated my blog lately. The guy and the woman haven't had the time to help me because they've been busy hammering, painting and so on. But they did it all for me!!! They kicked me out and when I came back the kitchen was violet, the hall was green and the toilet red! They say they chose the colours because they fit my fur!!! They've promised to take pictures later. Not only did they paint, they've been bunnyproofing the livingroom for days and days. It's a bit oh no, I had hoped I could get a nice bite of some of the power cords and hide out in some caves I know are there, but they've blocked everything. They’ve given me some other places to hide though. And look what they did to prevent me from screwing up internet, satellite tv, loudspeakers and more – this one is now nicely, too nicely, attached under the heater where all the important cords are:

Now I can run around in the livingroom as I want. I can be a wild, crazy, dangerous, breadhunting beast while the humans try to have a nice breakfast while watching Kommissar Rex. And I can disturb Mum's nap and get some cuddle by Dad whenever I want. Just take a look:

Last night we had a cat on our terrace! I heard some noises in the middle of the night. At first I thought it was H fumbling, then I heard a sound that could be a bunny's thumping so I went out to see if everything was ok. As I opened the door, a creature, H I thought, scampered in direction the bunny fence and "the forbidden zone". I followed just to make sure the fence was properly closed. As I came closer, this creature leaped over the fence and landed on the window ledge outside the bathroom. I was petrified, realised it must have been a cat. I rushed back to H's house and found her inside (innocent!) - completely indifferent. With shaking hands I put the hatches back on to lock her in and ran inside. Luckily nothing had happened to H. I’m still scared. And poor cat, taking a stroll on a 6th floor hot tin roof is not very self-preserving in the long run.

Hi stupid pranks guy. I miss you too. Haven't had much forced cuddling and whirling pilot lessons in a long time. As you can see on the video, I am grooming grooming grooming in order to look good when you come. Have been running on the terrace a lot today. Your message brought me in a good mood you see. I have done some rolls in my house and I have figured out I can jump from the upper floor of my house and down on the terrace floor. Mommy says I can jump back up too but I'm not so sure about that. Maybe I’ll think about it while meditating in the wind.

That Pudding is quite a handsome guy I must say. I’ve never met a cat before. Is he as charming as I am? What about soft and fluffy?

I had a nice stay at the summer camp. Was a good girl and played nicely with the other bunnies and some guinea pigs. I must say I was the cutest bunny there though even if Mommy greeted some of the others and sad "aawwww". Was a bit hard to be back home. No guy with stupid pranks and sudden cuddles here. Had to have some contemplative moments. Now I'm back in business, but I prefer to stay outside. Have to approve Mommy's terrace cleaning project. Her best achievement: Buying a huge basil. She's done some more shopping lately too: A new toilet box for the hidden room in my residence, a brush and a little ball with a bell. Me quite happy. Got some long nice cuddling/brushing sessions too.

Those lazy humans! Can't they ever have enough sleep? I tried everything to get them out of bed, flipped over my hayrack and shoved it around, ran like crazy on the carpets, spun my paws, shook the bunnyfence, removed the moulding and tossed it around, and I knew they heard me because they mumbled "oh bunny" but all they did was to go back to sleep.

I was simply forced to order a wakeupcall according to my taste of music. It worked! Backside of the medal is that the woman cuddled me for 20 minutes afterwards. But in the end I got a big piece of carrot.

Here are the recent achievements of mine: I've grasped the concept of stairs which is very useful when I'm in my two-storey terrace villa. Daddy contributed to the learning process on ascend as well as on descend by use of mere muscle power. Damn he was determined to get me up and down. Mommy, smart woman, thought a piece of chocolate at the ladder's end would help. I knew she would give me that chocolate after a while no matter what. She can't resist my big beautiful begging eyes you know, especially not after I had spent my first night alone in the dark. Mommy told me they were sleeping right next to me and that they could see me from their bedroom window all the time. I didn't see them though.
